Burts Bees Intense Hydration

So as a member of Bzz Agent I was selected for a Burt's Bees Intense Hydration bzz campaign. I received the Night cream, Intense hydration mask and the cream facial wash. As a disclaimer I received these products free of charge. This will not effect my opinion though.

So I began using the product when I received it on Friday night. First impressions, The wash in creamy and smells super good. Almost a herbal floral smell. Light but refreshing. It was from the Clary sage in the products. The consistency looked just like my favorite creamy cleanser, Clinique Foaming facial cleanser, but the similarities end there. this product is creamy but does not foam much. That is not to mean it doesn't clean because it does, but it feels like washing your face with cold cream. In the winter I have been known to do that exact thing, but this product washes off and leaves a film on your face that I imagine is to retain moisture. Great in theory but amazingly I feel like I need moisturizer right after I get out of the shower. Also something I do anyway just normally I don't feel such a need for it A.S.A.P. But a little note that I was impressed by. Even though I felt like I needed moisturizer my skin was not red like it normally is post wash. take from that what you may.

So I opened my night cream and it has the same wonderful smell of the wash. The moisturizer is very thick. And it FEELS thick on the skin. it does not really feel like it absorbs. There is a feeling of a wax coating on the face after application that I am not a fan of. But I went to bed and in the morning I felt fine. face looked good but by Monday I did have two pimples on my cheek. I am hormonal right now so that may be why. I will keep using to see if this is caused by the product or not.

Now Sunday I chose to use the moisture mask It was lotion like in nature and again smelled like all the other products. I followed instructions and applied a thick coating all over face and let it sit for 10-15 minutes then wipe off with cloth and rub the rest in to skin. It felt just like applying a thick layer of lotion to the skin and letting it sit would feel like. I waited for some intense hydration feeling or cooling feeling or anything really. Nothing happened. Now this may have been the cause of my pimple also but because of my hormones I will keep using to know for sure.

Now the products in this line retail for 17.99 a piece. As of right now I dont think the product warrant that price but Maby time will change my mind. Have you tried this product? tell me what you think.

nail polish Plan

So I have a confession, I have a polish addiction. I am not sure how many I have but I would say 150 easily. With CVS and Riteaid their reward bucks and great sales make it sooooo easy to get them for next to nothing. So as I was staring at them the other night I decided it would be fun to go threw them and document the fun. I need to lay off the polish purchases for a while. So I will be starting that soon. I will take a picture to document it and post it for you all. I need to start looking at ways to use what I have and purchase less. It is becoming almost embarrassing how much I have Cheap or not LOL. How about you. Do you have a makeup addiction you need to work on. .

Nials oh how I love the

I love Nail Polish. I do, I have short nails that have a tendency to peel and am working on that with Nutra nail growth 5-7 day treatment and it has made a huge differance. I dont have peeling anymore. So I concluded I needed to celebrate this with a new nail color. Not that I need much to celebrate to get a new nail color LOL. I was at Rite Aid and they had the new Wet and Wild nail colors in the embossed glass with the new brush OMG do i love them. I picked up bite the bullet wich is a cream purple color. It is so pritty but the best part is it stays very well. Now Being fair I did invest in CND stickey base coat and that could be why but It is a beauty. Most nail color stays on my fingers for about 12 hours and starts chipping reguardless of what I use. This one has managed 3 days. The brush is new also. Nice big and rounded. I was able to apply a smooth coat in only 1-2 strokes depending on the finger. Not the usual 3-4. The less I stroke the better because I trend to get a bit carried away and mess it up. And at 1.99 not on sale that is a steal.Just needed to share. xoxo Jodi

starting the week of right

Hello, So today while I was hauling my makeup in to the bathroom (took me 3 trips lol) I recalled something I head on youtube under one of the bloggers on there, don't remember who. She said that she picks out makeup she will use for the week and keeps in in a makeup clutch on her dresser so that she makes sure she actually uses all her makeup and not just buy it and stick it in her drawers. Well that got me to thinking. Hmmmm.... I have a chest in the bathroom that decorates the top of my toilet and right now it is just collecting random junk i find in the bathroom as i do my quick cleans. This week in the name of organization and beauty I am going to clear it out and add m y make up basics to it for quick face prep. Now I am a bit compulsive when it comes to makeup and well most things honestly so I don't know I could stick to a weekly face. But This is a great start. I mean regardless of when I do I always use some things.

Liquid foundation
concealer (under eye darkness is are horrible)
Blush/bronzer ( I am sooo pale)
powder
eye lash curler
eye brow powder
mascara

That is a good two trips right there. this way can only bring the fun stuff like eye color and lipstick.
How do you organize your makeup?
